About this website:

Welcome to my website, here you can find some of the microphotos I’ve taken. Ever since I was a kid with a toy microscope, I’ve always been intrigued by the invisible world around us.

On this page you find 2 images of the stinger hairs of the Oak Processionary. These hairs are actually very small – 0.3 millimeter – and equipped with lots of barbs. Both pictures were taken with 100x objectives, respectively with transmitted darkfield and DIC (differential interference contrast).

The other pages are accessible via the menu on top of this page and display a variety of different subjects.
